Is the fact that you do this the center of your entire philosophical outlook on the world and your only claim to intellectual sovereignty? Is this the basis for you to not have meaningful discussion with anyone? Do you not have to talk to people because your thoughts are sooooo special and unique and deeper and better than everyone elses’ and so there’s no point in ever reading a book or talking to someone with the intention of interrogating your own philosophical beliefs?
